Our weekend getaway at Secret Garden Cottage couldn't have been better. It was lovely waking up to the birds chirping and having breakfast in the glorious garden that just kept going and going! We took our much loved poochies and they had an awesome time exploring the gardens. The cottage was prepared beautifully by our hosts Fiona and Michael; we felt very spoilt.

As soon as we opened the door we got that warm, welcoming feeling. The cottage is comfortable & clean with a generous amount of provisions for the traveller. The garden is just gorgeous with lots of nooks & crannies to explore, & a great safe & secure environment for our dog. It's about a 10 minute walk to the main streets of Katoomba so there's no need to take the car & battle it out for a carpark, & it's far enough away to be in a quiet & peaceful setting. What a beautiful and inspiring place and how fortunate we are to have discovered the 'Secret Garden Cottage'
Three days here leave us refreshed and relaxed. There is love , harmony and delight in every aspect every detail and colour - inside and out. Thankyou for sharing and maintaining such a beautiful garden and home.

As I sit here looking around at this lovely kitchen I dont want to leave, I suffer from a sleep disorder and our last 3 days I 've never slept so much in my life. My husband and I an our 2 pooches loved being here. We watched movies, cooked and sat the table and read our papers together ' Something we used to do 30 years ago' This is a very special place - you should be so proud of what you have created. We cant wait to come back.

Having stayed in many places around the world, this little 'Secret Garden Cottage' was up there with the best! We loved its warmth and cosy atmosphere and the beautiful garden - very relaxing and a place we will come back to again.

Being away from the township is a bonus, the tranquillity here is amazing. A real 'Garden of Eden'
